AND OAK. take place June 8 and will be the thirty- sixth anniversary meeting. Vaxious Notes. The Retail Florists' Association held its meeting May 8, at Tower Grove hall, on South Grand avenue. In the absence of Theodore Miller, who has resigned as jiresiding officer, Mrs. F. Diemer presided. All other officers were present and the attendance was better than usual. Prospects for Moth- ers' day business came up for discus- sion and all present predicted a record- breaking business. Several new mem- bers were elected, with promises that several more would be taken in at the next meeting and it looks as if the asso- ciation has taken a new lease on life. Bishop Tuttle presided over the serv- ices at the annual flower sermon, May 14, at Christ church cathedral. An hon- orarium for this sermon was left as an annual bequest by the terms of the will of the late Henry Shaw, founder of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Tlie Lady I'Torists' Home Circle was entertained May 10 by Mrs. E. E. Wind- ier, a
