Rusty Rapada, a radiology mentor at the Afghan national army's 209th Corps Camp Shaheen Army Medical Hospital, Afghanistan, lends a helping hand to Afghan health care providers by drawing meningococcal immunizations for approximately 400 ANA basic trainees, Dec. 31, 2009. Rapada deployed from Yokosuka, Japan, as part of the Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan Medical Embedded Training Team earlier this year to assist in the development and training of Afghan counterparts.
