A model 1910 field tunic for a Lieutenant, in the 1st Infantry Regiment König. Fine, field grey cloth, red piping, shoulder boards with gilded regimental monogram "MJ", and gilded buttons stamped with a rampant lion. The ribbons of the Military Merit Order and the Iron Cross II in the buttonhole. A Munich tailor's label in the breast pocket along with the owner's name, "Heckel 1915". There is also a handwritten document from his brother with biographical data, wherein it appears that the owner was Johann Heckel, a company commander in the 1st Infantry Regiment ,
