In Devaragattu village of Holagonda mandal, two groups attacked each other with sticks as part of the annual midnight festival called Bunny Utsav. It has been a culture since time immemorial in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh state. Mainly villagers belonging to Neralik Thanda, Kothapet villages, Suluvai, Arikera Thanda and other villages sprinkle turmeric and beat each other with sticks.
