The Administration Buildings contain ah the departments of the Schools that areof a business or administrative nature. There are about seventeen of these depart-ments, including the Presidents, Managers, Secretarys, Treasurers, Controllers, Advertising,and Students Aid THE INSTRUCTION BUILDING AND PRINTERY NOTWITHSTANDING the large floor area of the Administration Buildings, it was foundthat their accommodations were entirely inadequate to meet the requirements broughtabout by the remarkable growth of the Schools; so, for several years, nineteen otherbuildings in Scranton were occupied wholly or in part by the several departments ofthe institution. The Instruction Building—recently occupied—was erected to meetthese new and pressing Instruction Building is a magnificent structure, strictly modern, and its floor area,added to that of the Administration Buildings, makes a total floor space of about 7 acres. In this new building there are some thirty Schools and departments, including the officesof the Dean of the Faculty, the Director of Instruction, the Textbook Writers Department,the Students Record, General Correspondence, Illustrating, Shipping and Supplies, Printingand Binding Departments, etc. By assembling all these closely
