With its small size (81 square miles) it has a high percentage of upland forest (19%) and non-forested wet- lands (3%). The Chain O'Lakcs-Fox River RR/K (44"^ square miles) encompasses the area of most recent glaciation in Illinois. Significant natural features include glacial landforms, natural lakes, and Table 18.
