First Lieutenant Max Immelmann (1890 - 1916), a signed photo of his Fokker E IV 127/15 The Fokker with its double MG on a field in front of a hangar with Immelmann in the cockpit ( x cm). On the lower edge in purple indelible pencil "My new Fokker - greetings, Max". On the back in pencil "Immelmann in his (2nd) Fokker, 160 , in which he had his fatal accident on 18th June." The Fokker E IV was developed in 1915, but only came into use at the front in April 1916, the delay was due to a faulty MG synchronising gear.
