Surrounded by an army of male photographers, male bystanders, and random men curiously filming with their cell phones, a group of 40 women conducted a protest called “Free the Titties” on a sunny Sunday to fight for gender equality. According to the event organiser, Alice Lacroix, the protest was created in response to a poor interaction Éloÿse Paquet Poisson with the police who asked her to cover her exposed breasts at a beach in Gatineau.
