This is the condition in all cases except for engine anddynamo rooms, as above cited, and also where sprinkleredbuildings are not heated sufficiently to prevent freezingof the water in the sprinkler piping. In this case what aretermed automatic dry pipe valves are installed in the mainvertical inside feed pipe to the automatic sprinklers.
