Trolley wheels connected withthe cars are adapted to travel alternately upon one rail and the succeedingone. Electromagnets wilh movable armatures are adapted to make connec-tion between the main conductor and the terminal end of each rail whenenergized, means being provided for energizing each preceding magnetfrom the succeeding rail. This is accomplished by overlapping the rail sothat two trolleys are temporarily traveling upon the two rails.
