Upgrades to the refueling system at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, will increase the pumping capacity to 2,400 gallons per minute for 25 multi-aircraft revetments and six bomber outlets. Two new 420,000 gallon aboveground operating storage tanks will feed the system. During the hot summer months, nearly around the clock construction is overseen by the Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District's Las Vegas Resident Office.
