Crowds gather at the Tower of London to celebrate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The occassion was marked with a 62 gun salute at the Tower of London at 1pm on the 21st April 2016.

Today there will be a 62 gun salute at the Tower of London to mark HM The Queen’s accession to the throne. 62 rounds will be fired as it is a Royal anniversary: The basic 21, plus a further 20 because the Tower is a Royal Palace and Fortress, plus another 21 ‘for the City of London’.
