On July 25, 1918, he graduated atthe 3d Aviation Instruction Centre, Issoudun, France. At Orlyhe acted as Ferry Pilot and was in charge of testing machines. DUNCAN DANACaptain, , , Thirty-Second Aero Squadron Son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dana; was born Nov. 17, 1892, at NewYork, He was educated at Groton School, Groton, Mass.,and at Harvard College, graduating in 1914. He played end on theVarsity football team in 1914-15. He was a member of Battery A, , in 1912 and 1913. Heenlisted on July 10, 1917, and received preliminary training at Ground School. He sailed overseas on Oct. 26, 1917. Hewas stationed at Issoudun for the remainder of the war as com-manding officer in charge of the shop for repairing, testing, andimproving planes. He was commissioned 1st Lieut., May 16, 1918;Capt., on Sept. 30, 1918, 32d Aero Squadron. He is still in Service. Married, June 10, 1916.
