This melon is of medium size, thin rind, mottled green, flesh bright scarlet, solid to centre, very sweet. An excellent sort for garden cultivation. The flesh of this variety is of a rich yellow color, and in delicious sweetness and rare quality reminds one of honey, be- ing, without exception, the sweetest melon we have ever raised.
