It was covered in the middle ftnd latter part of summer and during autumn by its multitude of beautiful white flowers. The upper part of the entrance to the insane asylum was covered with this plant, and was a perfect mass of ; We have no other climber that will stand the heat and drought as this does. Taken all together, we have no plant that can rival it for its purpose in Its rapidity of growth, density of foliage and amount of flowers. It will be -understood, of course, that Itis not hardy; it is a perennial, though, and can be wintered Ln a greenhouse or in the house when the thermometer averages 60 de- grees; should have good soil. Acustomer who purchased three plants of these beautiful vines writes us as follows, and scores of others speak of it in the same glowing terms ; "It may interest you to know of our success with the Evening Glories. Had we known the room they could occupy we doubt not we would have had still more blos- soms, but even in the contracted epace, the three plants yielded over 1,500 blossoms.
