A recruit with India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, jumps off a platform during the Water Survival Basic Qualification at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 27. The dive prepares recruits to safely exit a ship in case it is severely damaged. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. India Company is scheduled to graduate May 25.
