"Vents" a functional sculpture by Thomas Heatherwick functional Bishops Court Paternoster Square, The City of London EnglandUK

"Vents" a functional sculpture by Thomas Heatherwick Studio provides a visually satisfying solution to a technical problem. Inlet air is drawn in around the base so that to two towers form the only above ground element allowing more space to be free for pedestrians and allowing more freedom in the design of the towers. The towers are formed of 63 identical isosceles triangles of 8mm stainless steel plate welded together and bead blasted to a satin finish.
