Brig. Gen. Monte Rone, Commander of 1st Cavalry Division Forward accepts a token of appreciation from Romanian Chief of Staff of the Land Forces Maj. Gen. Iulian Berdilă after the transfer of authority ceremony between 1st Infantry Division and 1st Cavalry Division at Forward Operating Site Poznań in Poznań, Poland July 15, 2021. The ceremony completes the transition of divisional power in Poland in support of Atlantic Resolve. Under Atlantic Resolve, rotational forces throughout Europe build readiness, interoperability and trust with our NATO Allies and partners.
