Certificates of merit were awardedboth the Vincents and Dr. Evans ex-hibit received honorable mention. COMMISSION HOUSE PROJECTED. On the night of October 5 there wasa well attended meeting of growers andretailers at the store of Mayberry &Hoover, at which the preliminary stepswere taken to open in this city a whole-sale flower market and commissionhouse. Prominent among those presentwere Z. D. Blackistone, David Grill-bortzer, W. W. Kimmell, Henry Pfister,C. E. Brooks, J. A. Philipps, Mr. May-berry and Mr. Hoover.
