A staff member of Khimsar Fort Hotel, a 15th century fort, restored and converted into a heritage hotel, in Khimsar, a small village in the heart of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. Rajasthani men often wear turbans - a long swathe of cloth wrapped around their heads. Used to protect from the harsh desert heat, they also identify the wearer's tribe and caste.
