Brown has been appointed assistantmaster mechanic at Keyser, W. Va., vice T. , transferred to Benwood Jimction. R. B. Stout has been appointed assistantmaster mechanic, Cumberland. At about this time inter-locking switches and signal appliances wereinstalled on the Cumberland Division, and was placed in charge of their main-tenance from Sleepy Creek to Norwich. In1911 the New Lnion Switch and Signal Plant,at that time the largest in the Lnited States,was placed in service at Hancock and was made maintainer, the positionwhich he now holds. Our energetic and efficient freight agent,J. C. Tonry, of Martinsburg, has demonstratedhis ability as a freight solicitor, having securedand shipped thirty-nine cars of apples from theteam tracks at that station during the firstweek in October.
