Chanaleilles (central-southern France): the site of “la domerie du Sauvage", former Templar farm, has been bought by the department of the Haute-Loire, which rents it for cattle breeding. The complex offers a halt, farm products and a stopping point for pilgrims on the road to the Way of St James (Santiago de Compostela). At an altitude of 1,292 m, isolated at the top of the Margeride mountainous region, the “Domaine du Sauvage” complex is made up of stone buildings, on the edge of the forest and bordered by ponds fed by the Virlange River.
