Evening visitors at the Brandenburg Gate, in Berlin, Germany. This landmark stands at the junction of Unter den Linden and Ebertstrasse, west of the Pariser Platz. It was commissioned by King Frederick William II of Prussia as a monument to peace, and built by Carl Gotthard Langhans between 1788 and 1791.
