Its distinctive feature is found in its leaflets or pinna, which are miniature fronds in themselves, unfolding in the same manner as the large OUBs. This constant unfolding of the plant has the effect of giving it two fhados of green, which are very pleasing. An exceedingly graceful plant with its arch- ing fronds of Ayaxy plume-like appearance.'
