Demonstration of a prototype indoor air raid shelter in 1941. A photograph showing a couple asleep in a prototype indoor shelter, which is similar to a Morrison shelter, but has a rounded, corrugated metal roof, rather than the flat, steel table-top of a Morrison shelter. This shelter meant more headroom for occupants, but was felt to be less practical in the home than the flat-topped Morrison.
