The fine bell tower at Cambuskenneth, Stirling.

The bell tower at Cambuskenneth – a fine example of a free-standing campanile, unique in Scotland. The original was part of the Abbey here, founded around 1140 by David I whose favourite dwelling was Stirling Castle, a short distance to the west.
