Siaw spent two years as the sergeant major of Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler and Marine Corps Installations Pacific preforming his duties in a manner which reflected well on his character and on the Marine Corps as a whole. Siaw was relieved of his duty by Sgt. Maj.
