"The Creel Loaders" sculpture by Gardner Molloy. Dunbar, Scotland


The Creel Loaders sculpture is made of sandstone and was installed in 2016. It is more than six-foot tall and honours Dunbar’s fishing heritage. It was created by Cockenzie-based artist Gardner Molloy. It was funded by the Dunbar Harbour Gateway project. It is located at the junction of Castle Gate and Victoria Street near the Victoria Harbour. Dunbar is a coastal town of the North Sea in East Lothian, Scotland. It has a small and active working fishing harbour that is also used by small leisure boats. The town is located about 30 miles east of Edinburgh, and 25 miles north of the English border.
