Marines assigned to the Maritime Special Purpose Force, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), return to shore after completing helocast water insertion training on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 26, 2022. Helocasting is an airborne technique used by small unit special operations forces to insert into hard-to-reach areas via bodies of water. This high-risk training prepares the MSPF for the upcoming 26th MEU deployment.
