Proboscis fully developed ; paljji obliquely upturned, the 2nd joint not reaching middle of frons and moderately fringed with scales in front, the ord short; frons with slight rounded prominence with corneous plate below it, eyes large, round; aiitennse of male ciliated; thorax clothed with hair and scales mixed, the protliorax without crest, the metatliorax with spreading crest; tibiae slightly fringed with hair; abdomen with dorsal crest at baso only. Fore wing with the apex rounded, the termen eveidy curved and not crennlate ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from upper angle ; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins o, 4 from angle of cell; 5 obsolescen
