They do admirably trained up to the side of any building, or along the garden fences, occupying but little room and fur- nishing an abundance of the healthiest of fruit. Make the soil mellow, and plant the vines somewhat deeper than they stood in the nursery. Plant about eight feet apart, by the fence or building.
