Binliner freight train thought to be used to carry domestic landfill waste from Manchester to Scotland at Plawsworth England UK

I was told that this train is used to carry Manchester's domestic waste to a landfill site in Scotland, hence the name Binliner. I have not been able to corroborate this story, although it appears that the word Binliner is in common usage in railway circles and that Manchester does use the railways to remove waste to remote landfill sites. The location is Plawsworth on the east coast mainline, between Chester-le-Street and Durham in north east England UK. This is an empty train heading south.
