A massive march has toured the center of Madrid this Saturday to ask for the resignation of the central government. In an event organized by the Platform for the Resignation of Pedro Sánchez, thousands of people have taken to the streets of the capital with slogans such as "We do not deserve a government like this" since they had no other purpose than to demand the resignation of the coalition executive for his management during the coronavirus pandemic. Throughout the march, and although the epidemiological situation in Madrid is not favorable, the safety distance between people has not been maintained although the mask has been used by most of the attendees. Even so, among the groups that have attended the demonstration were the deniers, who have been demonstrating in Madrid every weekend. The protest, which began in Puerta del Sol, has traveled through Calle Alcalá, Plaza de Cibeles, and Paseo de Recoletos to conclude at Plaza de Colón, which has become, since Sánchez entered the Government by road of a motion of censure, in a place of reference for his detractors. In Colón, a manifesto has been read by the Association of Relatives of Victims of the Coronavirus, which demands that the Central Executive stop hiding the real numbers of deaths caused by the pandemic in Spain. The organizing platform, they say, is not linked to any political party or movement, although they are clearly opposed to the two parties that support the government: PSOE and United We Can. For this reason, from different sectors of society, this platform has been linked to right-wing formations such as the PP or the extreme right such as Vox. Even so, from the Platform for the Resignation of Pedro Sánchez they deny the greatest.
