The 'Vista booth', a space-age look in public telephone installations. Designed by Bell Telephone laboratories, this is one of the many exploratory designs being studied to meet telephone service demands of the future. The trail model of the Vista booth is made of an aluminium frame and flooring with a transparent plastic 'bubble dome' for maximum visibility. This type booth would be installed in a weather protected area, such as a railway concourse. The interior apparatus includes a coin box with a modernistic housing and a standard desk model telephone.
