Rossi inspects his bike and discovers that the race is over for him due to the bike being excessively damaged. A sequence of pictures that depict the crash at turn one of the 2011 Valencia Moto GP. Alvaro Buatista #19 clipped Andrea Dovizioso #4 under braking and subsequently fell off. Buatista's bike hit Valentino Rossi #46, who hit Randy De Puniet #14, who hit Nicky Hayden #69. Hayden was found to have a broken wrist several days later.
