A Russian chamberlain key from the reign of Tsar Alexander III, (1881 - 1894) Bronze with partially retained fire gilding. Openwork bow in the form of a crowned Russian double eagle with the Cyrillic cypher "A III" on the escutcheon, the shaft with spirally wound laurel decoration, openwork bit.
