Imatinib mesylate. Molecular model of the drug imatinib mesylate (). This tyrosine-kinase inhibitor is sold under the brand name Gleevec. It is used in the treatment of multiple cancers, most notably Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML).
