Carl Kirton, from Preston landboarding at his favourite spot on Ainsdale beach in stiff northerly winds, on the north-west coast. Carl is the team rider for Peter Lynn Kiteboarding in Preston, and won 2nd & 3rd in various disiplines in he final round of the British Championships on the 12th-14th of September 2014 in North Devon.
Ainsdale beach, a large soft sandy beach between Southport and Formby with nature reserve and sand dunes. This beach is so large you can always find space. Ideal for horse riding, Kitesurfing, landboards, buggy and land yachts. Ainsdale Beach is now recognised as one of the best beaches in the UK for kite activities, with zones set aside for kite buggy, landboard use and kite surfing in the sea. A permit is required before you use a power kite in the kite zone.
