I donot know that I can enlighten you much in regard, to this case. Thephysician who referred this case to me did not have the patient incharge when the trouble arose. This patient is now about thirtyyears old and the trouble arose when between twelve and thirteenyears of age. She had treatment for the case in this section of thecountry without avail. She went to Chicago and was treated there. without any better results, and she finally went to New York, wherea cure was effected, the treatment extending over a period of abouttwo years. It was pronounced as ulcerative catarrh. That was allI was able to learn of the history of the case. In addition to thedestruction of the nose there was also a considerable destructionof the hard palate, and as she had lost all her teeth, too,the case was somewhat difficult to treat in full. Now the methodof restoration I employed in this case I can simply show you by theplaster model I have here. This model of the nose (indicating) is 326 THE DENTAL RE WE IV. one made by my assistant from the completed nose to place on theplaster cast because it showed to better advantage on the plastercast than the wax model did.
