Mapplebeckii (Muorc) Another grand fern. It is remarkable that almost identically thesame form— L. polydactyla Wills—should have beenfound a few years later, hundreds of miles away in S. Devon—perhaps Mr. Wills form may be a shade the more robust of thetwo,—but it is very much a case of Cassar and Pompey. polydactyla found in Westmoreland is a fine form too, butmore lax and scarcely as heavily tasselled.
