The best de- mand is for potted plants, particularly geraniums, which are selling for from 20 cents to HO cents apiece. Salvia has come into the market and is selling at $ per dozen. Carnations are plenti- ful at $ per dozen, with roses sell- ing at $3 per dozen. Sweet peas are still plentiful and are selling for 35 and 75 cents per bunch. Several beautiful floral pieces are being made bv local florists for the Memorial day" trade in the shape of crosses of pink and white roses and other fancy sprays. The trade is doing a rushing business in all kinds of plants for spring plant- in^'. Rose l)ushes are selling especially well- 2-vear-old rose
