Each couple thus has a new vis-a-vis each time the dance is executed. Repeat as often as desired. THE SICILIAN CIRCLE In this dance the sets are arranged exactly as inthe Spanish Dance (see diagram, p. 102). Themovements are adapted from the Plain Quadrille,and the music is in 2-4 time. DESCRIPTION OF THE DANCE CALLS Two Couples: Right and Left 8 measures Balance and turn Partners 8 •• Forward and Back 4 Forward and through to next set (as in LaTempete, p. 100) 4 For full description of movements see first figureof Plain Quadrille (p. 29).To be repeated at Correct Position for Bound Dances IVROUND DANCES GENERAL SUGGESTIONS Position—Partners stand facing each other, thelady a little to the right of her partner, so that eachis looking over the others right shoulder. The gen-tleman places his right arm around his partnerswaist, in such a way that the angle formed by bend-ing his arm at the elbow comes just under hershoulder. It is at this point that he gives supportand guidance to his partner. His right hand shouldtouch her waist as lightly as possible. The ladyplaces her left hand upon her partners right shoul-der. Her right hand she places, palm down, in herpartners left. The ladys right arm and the gentle-mans left are extended nearly straight, and are lifteda few inches from the side. This is the posit
