It was not only large but meritorious. The illustration gives a portion of thesecond floor where the display of textile fabrics, pottery, bronze work, in the manufacture of which theChinese undoubtedly excel, called forth general Colors Standards and Guidons were displayed in great profusion in the War Department exhibit Government Building and were arranged with artistic effect about the columns in that structure.
