The profile of the face is remarkably fine, the forehead legend liberty is large for the date, and in l almost touches the beadedborder; the end of the staff is thick, ending within less than one millimeter fromthe border. Condition, nearly proof. 1st Reverse: The wreath is rounded, with one cent well in the centre • itbears six berries on the left, and five on the right branch. The ribbon on theright falls to the dividing line in ^ of which the denominator almost touchesthe beaded border. * The following is a description of this type by a French writer: Tete a droite; chevelure flottante.
