Edin s Hall Broch, Scottish Borders

Essentially northern Scottish type of fortified building. Very unusual in south of Scotland. Probably dating to 2nd Century AD. 22m internal diameter with walls 5m thick set in NW corner of an earlier fort ca 130 x 70m overlooking Whiteadder Water. Fort from circa last years BC to early AD. Probably only broch within territory of Votadini tribe.
