A Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II with Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron (VMX) 1 takes off from a helicopter outlying landing field during exercise Steel Knight 23, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 8, 2022.
