CAMP HANSEN, Okinawa, Japan – The III Marine Expeditionary Force Band performed a tribute dedicated to the victims of the 2011 great East Japan earthquake and the victims in the recent earthquake in Kumamoto at their Spring Concert May 7, 2016 at Tedako Hall, Okinawa, Japan. III MEF Commander Lt. Gen. Lawrence Nicholson, Ginowan City Mayor Atsushi Sakima, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Masashi Mizukami and many other distinguished visitors attended the concert. The III MEF Band is comprised of 50 Marines, and performs in over 300 events each year, including the Japan Self-Defense Force
