BLACK SEA (Oct. 13, 2014) The 6th Fleet command and control ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) underway in the Black Sea. Mount Whitney, forward-deployed to Gaeta, Italy, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
