Major General Simpson presents a check of $ to Red Cross Field Director Mr. Harold A. Britt. The donation was made by Marines of the 1st Marine Division to support the victims of Hurricane Camile. The ceremony took place on October 21, 1969, and was attended by Assistant Secretary of the Navy John Warner, Secretary of Defense Melvin Laird, and Dr. Norman Vincent Peale.
