David Arnold Williams (born 1937), British astrophysicist. Williams's research has been on the origin of stars, and astrochemistry. In 2007 he is Emeritus Perren Professor of Astronomy at University College, London. He was President of the Royal Astronomical Society (1998-2000), and was made an OBE in 2000.
